Douglas County staff is recommending a $330,000 contract for storm-sewer work on Peterson Road. The Board of County Commissioners is scheduled to consider the recommendation Oct. 20, according to the meeting packet.
The project would replace an existing 24-inch culvert running through 7300 Peterson Road, about 2,077 feet south of Airport Road, and enlarge the storm sewer to carry 100-year flows from drainage basins east of the road, the staff recommendation says.
The recommended contractor, 53 Corporation, LLC, submitted the lowest quote at $275,576. The proposed $330,000 total includes $54,424 for possible field modifications, which would require the county’s prior written approval.
