Colorado Springs city furloughs

Colorado Springs is considering whether to eliminate the scheduled November 25, 2026 furlough day through a 2026 budget amendment. The administration proposed using $330,800 in general funds to restore pay for the day; City Council discussed the proposal at a work session.
