El Paso County public safety sales tax renewal

El Paso County voters will decide in November 2026 whether to continue the existing 0.23% Public Safety Sales and Use Tax. The tax funds sheriff’s office staffing, detention, emergency communications, wildland firefighting, equipment, and related public safety services; Colorado Springs City Council has expressed support for renewal.
