Cripple Creek blighted home demolition program

Cripple Creek is pursuing a state Community Development Block Grant to help address hazardous materials and demolish up to five uninhabitable, blighted homes. The city would oversee the work, homeowners retain their land, and Historic Preservation Commission review may prevent demolition of historically significant properties.
