The Colorado Springs Sports Corp projects the 2027 World Lacrosse Sixes Championships will bring 10,000 room nights and generate $45 million in economic impact, according to its report. These are projections for the future event, not results already achieved.

The tournament is scheduled for Oct. 4–10, 2027, at Weidner Field and is expected to feature 32 national teams: 16 women’s and 16 men’s. World Lacrosse announced the dates, venue and tournament format. The championships will determine five of the six qualifying places in each gender’s competition for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics; a later tournament will award the remaining place for each.
