El Paso County approves property agreements for Eastonville Road project
Commissioners approved eight resolutions in a 5-0 consent-calendar vote; seven transaction groups list payments totaling $80,820.
The El Paso County Board of County Commissioners approved eight property-related resolutions Sept. 8 for the Eastonville Road Phase I project, covering temporary and permanent easements and property deeds for road improvements. The board approved the items in a 5-0 consent-calendar vote, according to its meeting minutes.
Seven transaction groups list payments totaling $80,820:
- Bill H. Stogner and Lilly M. Stogner: A $500 temporary construction easement covering 48 square feet in Woodmen Hills Filing No. 10. The agreement and easement documents say the easement lasts for two years after the county gives notice of intended entry or until the project is completed, whichever comes first.
- James Cauthen Jr.: A $3,770 transaction covering a permanent 18-square-foot parcel, a 1,447-square-foot temporary easement, 1,465 square feet of rock ground cover and relocation of an underground pet fence, according to the resolution and exhibits.
- The Graves Family Living Trust: An $8,000 temporary easement and special warranty deed, according to the county agenda item.
- Perry W. Welch: A $19,870 temporary easement and special warranty deed, according to the agenda item.
- Woodmen Hill Metropolitan District and Meridian Service Metropolitan District: A $34,890 temporary easement and special warranty deed, according to the agenda item.
- Peter R. Martz: A $1,120 temporary easement, according to the agenda item.
- Woodmen Hills Metropolitan District: Two temporary easements and two special warranty deeds for a combined $12,670, according to the agenda item.
The resolutions cover county access to portions of private or district-owned property for construction, drainage, slope work, utilities, maintenance and related road work. The temporary easement documents reviewed require advance notice and restoration of disturbed areas after construction.
