The Cripple Creek-Victor School District says it needs to address roofing soon. A summary of a Sept. 14 presentation by Garland’s Wyatt Robinson in the district’s November board packet estimates replacements at $650,000 to $800,000 over the next few years.

Superintendent Dan Cummings’ report says the district’s upcoming roofing needs should be addressed soon. It describes a meeting with Korbin Pugh, a Colorado Department of Education regional program manager, to learn about the Building Excellent Schools Today (BEST) grant as a potential funding source.

The report describes preliminary exploration of the grant; it does not say the district has applied or received an award.
