The Cripple Creek–Victor School Board is scheduled to hear a presentation Nov. 2 on a proposal to include three district-owned parcels in the proposed annexation of Cripple Creek Hospitality House & RV Park. The board agenda lists the presentation as informational, with no vote scheduled.

The board packet says the proposal seeks the district’s support for including the parcels, guidance on its review and approval process, and identification of any concerns or conditions. The proposal says adding the parcels would help meet Colorado’s contiguity requirement, which generally calls for an area to share at least one-sixth of its boundary with existing city limits. It says the three parcels are outside those limits.

The proposal also says the district would retain ownership and that including the parcels would not change their current use or school operations. The board’s response is not yet known.
