Castle Rock staff are reviewing plans for a 324-unit apartment complex in Dawson Trails Filing 2, southwest of Dawson Trails Boulevard and Blanca Peak Parkway.

The Town Manager’s Nov. 3 report schedules a neighborhood meeting about the Dawson Trails Planning Area D apartment plan for Nov. 16, 2026, at 6 p.m. at Coff33. The proposed site plan calls for six buildings, a clubhouse with a pool, an enclosed dog yard, and surface and enclosed parking.

The Town’s September Development Services report lists submitted construction documents and erosion-control plans. It classifies the proposal as an administrative land-use application, which staff process without a public hearing.

An October development update citing a Town memo reported that the proposal remained under review. Staff review is not approval to build.
